Quality matters most on glass (it shows every streak), interior plastics (UV protectants matter long-term), and tires (cheap dressing turns brown by the end of the day). The expensive stuff (Gtechniq, CarPro, Koch-Chemie) is worth it for paint correction and ceramic coatings — not for routine maintenance.
