Apache Trail (AZ-88)

Apache Junction, AZ

The historic dirt highway between Apache Junction and Roosevelt Dam through the Superstition Mountains, past Canyon and Apache Lakes. Graded but narrow, with the steep Fish Creek Hill grade as the memorable stretch. Sections have been closed for repairs since the 2019 flood damage — check ADOT before running it end to end.
