Medano Pass Primitive Road

Mosca, CO

Crosses the Sangre de Cristos from the Wet Mountain Valley into Great Sand Dunes National Park, with nine Medano Creek crossings and a deep sand section at the dunes end. Airing down is required for the sand and there is a tire station at the park boundary. Water level in early summer can close the creek crossings.
